Ethan Brockett's early competitive years were spent Kickboxing on the regional circuit. He held 2x North Island Kickboxing titles before making his successful crossover to MMA. He made his Amateur MMA Debut at Knees of Fury early 2021, fighting an additional 3x times in 2022 including as an NZMMAF lightweight representative at the South Pacific Championships.

In 2023 he captured the Cage of Fury Amateur Lightweight Title as well as the Freestyle Wrestling Nationals Gold (NZOWU u79kg). He successfully defended the Cage of Fury Title and gained the Shuriken Fight Series Amateur Lightweight Belt in 2024.

Ethan started 2025 by winning the Australian HAMMA Lightweight MMA Title before successfully making his Pro MMA debut in May at Stealth Fighters League. He had a huge breakout moment at ONE Championship Friday Fights 145 in Thailand in March 2026, where he won via submission finish and secured an additional performance bonus.

Ethan holds the grades of 2nd Dan Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and Brownbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
