Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Style Overview

BJJ Class Timetable

Monday:

Kids BJJ 5-6pm

Judo & BJJ Takedowns: Monday 7pm-8pm

Advanced BJJ (Gi) 8-9pm

 

Tuesday:

Morning BJJ 7-8am

Beginners BJJ (Nogi) 6-7pm

Intermediate BJJ (Nogi) 7-8pm

 

Wednesday

Kids BJJ 5-6pm

Beginners BJJ (Gi) 7-8pm

Advanced BJJ (Gi) 7-8pm

 

Thursday

Morning BJJ 7-8am

Introduction to 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu (Nogi): Thursdays 7-8pm

Advanced BJJ (Nogi) 8-9pm

 

Weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Lunchtime BJJ 12:30-1:30pm

 

BJJ Grading System

At CORE MMA we run Brazilian Jiu Jitsu grades to cover all the grappling elements of our syllabus.
The belts for BJJ are as follows:

  • White - 'cinto branco'(Some schools include 0-4 stripes here)
  • Blue - 'faixa azul'
  • Purple - 'faixa roxa'
  • Brown - 'faixa marrom'
  • Black - 'preto'
