Kickboxing Fundamentals - Stance & Footwork. Our most fundamental stance should be low, stable and 'primed' for movement. Our feet should be wider than hips and our feet facing forwards towards our target.

Our basic step 'n slide footwork allows us to move around without breaking the fundamentals of our stance. Make a small step forward in the desired direction, before sliding up the back leg to return to our stance. Try to keep your feet close to the floor as you go.
