Here's another great entry to the Reverse Triangle / Sankaku technique. In this variant, our opponent is defending the North-South Kimura by linking their arms together. Rather than breaking the grip, we can simply insert our leg and then make our own link inside theirs. Triangles in general are great attacking choices as they are very hard for the opponent to escape. The reverse triangle can be used for choking/strangling, but it also offers a unique arm/shoulder lock which is particularly effective!

Next time you get to the northsouth kimura and your opponent defends, give this a try and let us know how you get on!
